will power you far past who you know to be you.

It's understood that most people are far too dim-witted,
for the most central truths of life they prove to be missing,
the results of perhaps too many kin who were kissing.
Sugar and flour, as if they don't kill,
well,
from such people the pearls of wisdom will rarely spill.

No, it's the hungry, those who would win,
who exceed expectations, whatever circumstances they're in.
They understand that great truths work all 'round,
this is the energy sourced from the ground.

In all that you find, in all you create, only the sun can instigate,
anything and all that calls itself "Life," with the allure of the call, the notes of the fife.
Singe loud and sing strong for what comes from the sun, the source of all power for literally everyone.

Did you know that the sun is humanity's one and only source of energy from the birth of YOUR breath?
Food is that which stores solar energy. From the ground comes what delays YOUR death.

But what is the sense of discerning great truths, when your hungers and wishes supercede what is good?

What you know and what you do, say more than words might pray to truth,
such as just one soda moving bad numbers uncreasingly to the roof.
No one is proof, no one can defend, the tiny poisons hastening the end.
No longer does it matter how long you live, not as much as what life gives.
